It's Father's Day!  We had a nice relaxing day at home today.  My ever-so-wonderful mom brought over lunch (complete with banana pudding) for Tony.  He was nice enough to let the rest of us have a bit, too. 

What a dude I have! He works so very hard to provide for us. We all love him to pieces.

Today's prompt:  What in your life has brought you the most luck or blessings?  It can be animate or inanimate.  This can be when you hit a certain age, or when you earned a certain job title or even when you got married or became a parent.  When, in your life, do you believe that your life became filled with luck, blessings and joy?

I believe my blessings started when I met this dude in high school...he played the trumpet in the marching band and I was on the dance team. He stood right behind me. We started chit-chatting and it all took off from there. He went to Auburn and I stayed put. Twenty years later? There's that little trumpet...and a house...and a playground for our sweet girls. He's taken me to so many places and countries and worked his hiney off to provide for us so that we can enjoy this lovely life God has given us...

...all because of that little trumpet right there.
