165/365

Today's prompt?  Sun

And just so you all know?  There are only two hundred more days of P365.

How do I know?

Well.  Because I can do basic math in my head.

How stinkin' awesome am I?

Please note the cute little freckle on her finger.  She's ever-so-proud of that freckle and she loves to show it off.  "See?  See my fweckle rite dare?"  She'd want to know that you noticed.

I'm sorry for not making the blog rounds lately and commenting on everyone's fabulous blog posts and images.  I'm way behind on being way behind.

Way.  Behind.

Just crayons today.

112/365

I had such a hard time deciding which photo to use today.  SUCH a hard time.  In the end?  I let Allison choose and here it is.  She said she chose this one because "the other one is WAY too crooked, Mommy and that looks bad".

Hmmm...does she see that Caroline is not in focus?  We've traded "way too crooked" for blurry.

Well, actually?  It's emotionally in focus and I just love that little hand of hers....that sweet little arm...that little bitty elbow...that darling profile...the sweet little overbite...

The only thing I hate about this photo?  Those blasted window crayons remind me that they will not come out of our carpet.

77/365

Today's prompt:  Green..Today I want you to find the green – this can be ANYTHING that is either the literal color green OR something that brings newness, new beginnings, life, or hope to an otherwise dismal situation.  Look at your day not as a series of hurdles/problems, but as a blessing!  We are SO lucky for all that we have.  Capture this with your lens!.

Is it terrible for a mother to be envious of her child's eyelashes?
