Today Caroline and I spent some time cleaning and I thought about taking a photo of cleaning supplies. I did not.
We also spent some time lining up stuff. She started that fun little
addiction activity when she was about...oh, I don't know...eighteen months? I thought she'd be out of it by now, but one of her favorite things to do is line up items. Equal packets at a restaurant. French fries on her plate. Matchbox cars. Crayons. You get the idea. Anyway, I thought about photographing her lining up the bathtub letters. Well. Actually I *did* photograph her lining up the bathtub letters, but I figure I have too many "lining up" photos.
Later we spent some time reading books and it crossed my mind that I should snap a photo. I didn't.
I filled up the sink with water and bubbles and she played there for a long while. Her hands smelled delightful. I considered photographing. But, alas I did not.
About an hour of our day was spent playing Sally and Yite Nin McQueen. I was Yite Nin and she was Sally. We raced our cars through the foyer and had to be rescued several times by the air pain. No pictures were taken.
Finally, she spent a while sitting with me by the back door in the living room and I figured out how to get her chatty and giggly and not so "squinch up my lips" smiley. We played Santa. I was Santa and I asked her what she wanted. She said, "two cookies cause you takin' a pishure of me, Santa."
Two cookies it was.
Love this one because it's just so dainty and so very Caroline. It also shows that little scar from when she tried to jump on the top bunk bed in her big sister's room.
