This morning we went bowling...or "balling" as Caroline says. The girls had such fun and Emily helped Caroline a lot. She's like a little momma bird.
At one point during our excitement, Emily said, "Allison? Why are you doing it that way?" And Allison replied, "Uh, Emily? Cause that's how I roll."
I was dying.
Today's prompt: fun

The big girls started taekwondo this week and they LOVE it! They've had the best time so far. This is my view from the lobby. I guess I could have opened the door, but do you see how serious those instructors are?
As we say down here in the south?
There ain't no way I'm gonna go in there.
Emily is the big girl on the right and Allison is the shorty on the left.

Today the girls and I went downtown to Piedmont Park to play in the brand new fountain. It was so very hot and you can bet that I'll be sportin' my suit on the next visit. I had no problem standing right near the sprayer fully clothed...letting the girls "accidentally" get me wet. I didn't take too may photos, but I was so happy to snag this one because all three girls are in it....Emily in the back in the green suit and Allison in the back right in the colorful suit.

I have to be honest here. I did NOT take this photo on the correct day, BUT this is what the girls did on this day. I just didn't like today's photo as well as this one.
This fun little activity right here is a very big step for Allison (on the left) because this time last year she wouldn't even get in the water. She needed a grown up to get in with her and even then it took 30 minutes of coaching for her to get in.

Last night we arrived at the lake and today we spent all afternoon jumping off the back of the boat...giggling...splashing...applying sunscreen repeatedly. I think this is my favorite photo of the weekend.

I haven't been feeling very well today and we had absolutely nothing in the house to eat. Tony let Caroline (who hasn't been feeling her best either) and I nap for a while and then he packed us all up and we drove over to La Parilla.
Does it matter that we ate at La Parilla yesterday as well?
It does not.
Is it that big of a deal that we already had three La Parilla balloons in the car from our previous mexican fiesta?
It is not.
We had a nice little meal at our favorite place while the girls behaved beautifully. They are, I must say, extrememly good restaurant goers. In fact, someone stopped during yesterday's La Parilla meal to tell us that our girls were "very well behaved".
Hmmm...makes a mommy proud, I must say.
After the meal, I gathered up our things and by the time I made it outside my husband already had two out of three girls seated on the bench. He was saying, "Mommy needs her picture for the day so sit there sweetly and smile."
That is exactly what those lil' darlings did.
Disclaimer: I gave up on trying to dress the middle child a year ago. She picks out her own clothes. Although she is an exceptional restaurant gal? She is a terrible clothes compromiser. She didn't do too bad on today's outfit.

What a lovely day today! The girls played outside all afternoon when we got home from church. Allison ran inside to get snack for everyone and they sat around the picnic table chit-chatting about little girl stuff.
Notice Caroline and her orange smile.
Disclaimer: I am in dire need of some inspiration. A photo class? A prompt a day? I don't know, but I'm in a slump here....I feel the snap-shotties coming on and it bums me out.
