Today's prompt:  What inanimate object/thing/concept is something that you take for granted on a daily basis?  What would someone who is not as fortunate as you are say about your “luck” to have such a thing in  your life?  Think about your blessings today – (don’t focus on people for this one…that will come later)…focus on opportunity/experience/something you have/do EVERYDAY that is an unforeseen blessing in your life.

Our home is such a blessing to me and something that I know I take for granted.  We started out in a teeny tiny house thirteen years ago and here we are now...three kids later and the perfect house for us.  We searched and searched for two years for a home such as this.  Every single Sunday we'd drive through neighborhoods with Baby Emily in the backseat singing her kiddie tunes at the top of her face.  We actually drove by this house several times and never even noticed it was for sale.  Not even our agent realized it as the sign was way down in the yard a bit down the hill.  Once we walked in?  We knew it right away.  She really didn't even have to show us the rest....we just had that feeling.   It's home and we love it. 

With all that is happening in Japan right now, I am tremendously thankful for what God has blessed us with.  We simply could not have asked for a better spot.  We've never faced an earthquake, or tsunami, flood or tornado and for that I am ever-so-grateful.
